At Mownii, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. You may request deletion of your account and personal data in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection laws in the countries and regions where Mownii operates.
How to Delete Your Account and Data
You can delete your Mownii account directly from the mobile app:
Profile → three-dot menu → Delete Account → Confirm Delete
Once you confirm the deletion, your account is deleted immediately, you are signed out, and your authenticated account access is removed. You will be returned to Mownii as a guest user.
You may also contact Mownii Support from your registered email address if you need assistance with a deletion request.
For email requests, use the subject:

Please include enough information for us to verify the account, such as:
- Your full name
- Your registered email address
- Your order number, if relevant
- A clear request to delete your account and personal data
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When account deletion is confirmed:
- Your Mownii account is deleted immediately.
- Your active login session and account access are terminated.
- Personal profile information and other account data scheduled for deletion are removed or securely processed for deletion.
- You can no longer access the deleted account, saved addresses, wishlist, wallet/account features, or other account-specific services.
- If you later register again using the same email address where permitted, the new registration is treated as a new account and does not automatically restore the deleted account.
Information We May Be Required to Retain
Some information may need to be retained for a limited period where required or permitted by applicable law, including records necessary for:
- Accounting and tax obligations
- Completed transactions and payment records
- Fraud prevention and security
- Legal claims or dispute resolution
- Regulatory and compliance obligations
Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for the applicable purpose and will not be used to restore your deleted account.
Important Information
Account deletion is permanent and may result in the loss of access to your order history, saved information, account benefits, and other account-related features.
If you only want to correct or update certain personal information rather than delete your entire account, you may use the available account settings or contact Mownii Support.

This version is better for both Apple and Google because it clearly states the actual in-app deletion path and immediate account deletion, while still correctly reserving legally required records such as transaction and tax data.

Retained information is limited to its lawful purpose and is not used to restore the deleted account.

Re-registration After Deletion
Where permitted, registering later with the same email creates a new account. Deleted private account data is not automatically restored, while legally retained records remain separate.
